What is the typical day-in-the-life of a c+i Merchandiser?
Merchandisers can work full or part-time, the commitment is totally up to you! Our goal is to provide you with the tools and training to help you achieve your goals as a Merchandiser, whether that’s making $300 a month or $3000 a month. Many of our Merchandisers keep a constant calendar of daily outreach, online selling, and in-person pop-up shops throughout the month. The time commitment and business plan is based on your financial needs and schedule.
What is Chloe + Isabel?
Chloe + Isabel is revolutionizing the way people view direct sales. Our mission is to provide fashion-loving entrepreneurs with an opportunity to make money in a fun and flexible environment, while gaining valuable skills for their resume. The main focus of our CEO and Founder, Chantel Waterbury, is to develop and nurture our Merchandisers into entrepreneurs and help them reach their personal goals.
What is the time commitment?
The time commitment is totally up to you! This is the beauty of owning and operating your own Chloe + Isabel business. The Merchandiser opportunity is designed to be fun and flexible, allowing you to operate your business at your convenience, on your own terms. You can work full or part-time, 1 hour or 40 hours a week – the time commitment is totally up to you!
What is included in the Business Starter Kit?
For $175, you’ll receive everything you need to launch your business with Chloe + Isabel. Our Starter kit includes the following:
- 15 pieces of jewelry valued at over $700, a free Merchandiser-exclusive branch necklace, and a branded jewelry carrying case
- Marketing materials, including lookbooks, order forms, and customer wishlists
- Access to your own virtual office and training
- Your own customizable e-boutique
Are there any other costs?
No, unlike other direct sales companies, we do not charge an annual fee or require any additional purchases. The Starter Kit at $175 is a one-time-only fee to launch your business and maintain your website.
Do I need to meet quotas or minimums?
No, we do not require sales quotas or minimums at Chloe + Isabel. However, if you are inactive for a period of 6 months, you will no longer receive the standard benefits of being a c+i Merchandiser.
How much do Merchandisers typically make? And what are the perks?
As a Merchandiser, you’ll receive 25-40% commission on all jewelry you sell.
Additionally, you’ll receive 50% off the entire line in your first 30 days as a Merchandiser. You’ll also enjoy a 50%-off shopping spree on brand-new jewelry within the first two weeks of every collection launch. At all other times of the year, you’ll enjoy the standard 30% discount on your personal c+i jewelry orders.
We want to help you build your jewelry collection as your business grows, so every Merchandiser benefits from our best-of-the-business free jewelry credit program. During your first 60 days, or “Fast Start” period, you’ll receive double the free credits earned by seasoned Merchandisers once hitting specific monthly sales levels. Plus, to further pile on the perks, we offer monthly Merchandiser incentives at certain sales thresholds, which include free bestselling jewelry pieces and covetable prizes to support your business, and look good while you’re at it!
How can I pay back my kit within 30 days?
Paying back your kit within 30 days is easy! Simply sell $585 in jewelry, either through online selling, in-person pop-up shops, or a combination of the two, and you’ll pay back your initial Starter Kit investment. Most Merchandisers pay back their kit within the first month simply by launching their business to family and friends within their network.
How do Merchandisers get paid?
We direct deposit your 25-40% commission to a c+i-branded Visa debit card on the 5th of every month.
This debit card is used just like any other debit card you may have. You can transfer funds, use it at an ATM, and use it to make purchases!
Who can I sell Chloe + Isabel jewelry to?
You can sell jewelry to anyone with a shipping address in the United States, including Puerto Rico. Our Merchandisers typically start by promoting and selling to family, friends, and social networks (both online and in-person), and continue to build their network and customer base from there using social media marketing, local vendor partnerships, and online selling.
Will I be paired with a mentor right away?
We will pair you with a sales mentor immediately after you complete your sign-up. Your mentor will provide you with as much or as little guidance as you’d like as you launch your business, host your Grand Opening Pop-up Shop, and operate your business day-to-day. Once you have launched your business and are well on your way, we’ll pair you with a regional team of Merchandisers and a team leader who will provide on-going support and best practices.
Can I be successful selling online only?
Yes, you can be successful selling online. However, our most successful Merchandisers do a combo of both online and in-person selling. We recommend that you host a Grand Opening Pop-up Shop to announce your business to your family, friends and network and to quickly build your initial customer base. Our most successful online sellers set daily goals to promote their business through Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, email marketing and more.
Do I have to recruit or build my own team?
You can work towards becoming a Merchandise Manager at certain sales thresholds. At the time of your promotion, we can help you build a team, and you can personally find candidates to join your team.
All Merchandisers can also refer someone in their network to join Chloe + Isabel and receive a free jewelry credit of $100. Merchandise Managers are eligible to earn team commissions each month on top of personal sales commissions. We encourage everyone to refer or seek team members outside of their customer base to avoid multiple c+i sellers within the same network.

Is Chloe + Isabel direct sales? How is it different from other direct sales companies?
Chloe + Isabel takes great pride in being unlike other direct selling companies. Our primary focus is to teach our Merchandiser how to sell jewelry and run her own business, both online and offline. We hand-select Merchandisers for each region to ensure we do not oversaturate markets. We encourage you to become an exclusive c+i representative in your own region.
We also provide our Merchandisers with their own cutting-edge, customizable online boutique, where they can curate their own c+i jewelry collections, marketing messages, and images to fully personalize the shopping experience for their customers.
Additionally, we provide unparalleled training, support and mentoring to ensure each Merchandiser’s success. Each Merchandiser has access to our online c+i Academy as well as her very own virtual office to run her c+i business.

Our business model is different from multi-level marketing companies. We allow our Merchandisers to earn a promotion to become a Merchandise Manager at certain sales thresholds. Once promoted to a Merchandise Manager, you will have the option to have assigned team members or you can build your own teams by finding qualified Merchandisers through your network. We recommend avoiding referring friends or family in your social network to ensure you maintain your customer list as the community grows.
